I spent my whole life studying what makes a good leader. I read everything. I knew the right answers.
Then I ran my first business, and I was hit with the reality of my own flaws. I had the knowledge. I still wasn't getting the results I wanted. Something underneath was overriding everything I had learned.
That is when I understood it. I was running an inherited model of what a leader is supposed to be, and it was stronger than anything I could read my way out of. If I wanted to become the leader I knew I could be, I couldn't just gather more knowledge. I had to rewire who I was from the core.
So I built the method to do exactly that. I called it SIR. A framework designed to end the inherited leadership patterns that hold us back, and put something you actually choose in their place.
Over the years, I have sat across from leaders carrying the same weight I did. Directors, managers, founders, all capable, all stuck on something they couldn't name. I have watched them surface the pattern, interrupt it, and lead like themselves again. That is the work I do now, with the leaders ready for it.
You learned how authority works long before you held a title. Most of it, you never chose.
The first job is to surface the pattern. Naming it is most of the work.
Trust comes before metrics. When people believe the work matters, the numbers follow.
This is the place to start a conversation. Tell us what is going on with your leadership or your team, and we'll get back to you personally.
